About me

My name is Elin Aageson. I will be a 2028 graduate at Skyline High School. I was born in Helena, Montana, but have spent the majority of my life in Sammamish, Washington. I have an older brother and an older sister.

I am a pitcher and play first base. Pitching has become a very big part of my life. Days without lessons or team practice, there’s a pretty good chance I am trying to get some time in at the cage or out on a field.

This is my fifth year playing select. Growing up, I have played softball and basketball, as well as a few years of track and volleyball. Softball just clicked for me, so I decided that's where I wanted to put all my focus, especially as a pitcher. I know there is always something to learn, and space to evolve both physically and emotionally. I see my time playing softball as a way to do that. I'd be lying if I said everyday was easy, but in hindsight, the harder days are the ones where I learn the most.

I play softball simply because I enjoy it. I have fun when I’m playing, and I look forward to getting to work hard and (hopefully) getting to see that in the game results. While being a pitcher means a lot of work behind the scenes, softball is a team sport at the end of the day, and getting to come together makes it worthwhile.
